Working Groups

Working Groups are 4000 More’s organizing tool of choice– like committees but more efficient and more independent (more, more, more!). If you’d like to make a contribution to any of these groups, or if you can contribute skills that we haven’t made note of here, let us know! Also, the tasks listed in parentheses below are just ideas—if you’ve got different ones, we want to hear them.
•    Fundraising (writing grant applications to the Green EDGE fund or the city’s Sustainable Reserve Fund, balancing books/Treasurer-type duties)
•    Programming (organizing mechanics’ workshops, bike safety programs in the schools, family-friendly parties and events, coming up with new ideas for registration events)
•    Promotions (designing and creating promotional materials, getting in touch with local printers for flyers, tshirts, stickers, and other good stuff for giveaway items)

Artsy Folks: We Need Your Skills!

Are you a photographer, videographer, graphic designer, or otherwise talented artistic person? We need your help documenting our trek to 4000! If you’d like to donate your time, skills, and company to 4kM, send us an email with your name and a brief description of how you’d like to get involved. We’ll get back to you ASAP!
