The Pledge

I pledge to spend more time on my bike and less time in cars. By talking to my friends and neighbors and encouraging them to join me, I’ll help transform Oberlin into a community that’s happier, healthier, safer for cyclists and pedestrians and better for the environment.

When you take the 4,000 More Pledge, this is what you’re committing to: biking more and driving less, engaging your friends and neighbors in conversations about your decision and why you’re making it, and getting involved with community events. That’s it! It’s simple, it’s incredibly easy, and you’ll help transform Oberlin into a better place. Keep on the lookout for announcements about upcoming registration events, where you’ll have the opportunity to take the 4,000 More pledge, score a cool 4kM sticker for your bicycle, and join the movement!

I can’t wait. How can I make this happen? What a great program and it could really help the bike coop develop financial independence to serve more people.

    Thanks for getting this started.
